WA Regional Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Detail Design

Our Client tendered the York Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Stage 1 project for the WA Water Corporation and engaged MAD3 to provide the design package.

Upgrade the existing York WWTP to provide treatment capacity for inflows of up to 200 kL/d and provision for further upgrade in future to treatment capacity of 400kL/d, infrastructure at the WWTP to permit the future de-sludging of WWTP ponds, and woodlot Transfer Pump Station for the production and delivery of ‘low exposure risk’ Treated Waste Water to the adjacent woodlots.

Scope Of Work

  • General activities related to design and design presentations/ workshops
  • Attendance to weekly project design meetings
  • Safety in Design
  • HAZOP workshop (conducted in Perth)
  • Operability workshop (conducted in Perth)
  • Civil, mechanical and electrical design activities on the following:
    • Inlet and Pond works
    • Reuse Facility
    • Woodlot treatment pump station.
