Scope Of Work
2x designs to conform with AS 1210-2010 Pressure vessels.
- Service: Natural Gas
- Design Pressure: 9,900 kPa
- Design Temperature: -22 to 80°C
- Material: Coated Carbon Steel
- Verification in accordance with AS 3920 Pressure equipment – Conformity assessment
- Arrangement as per Owner’s drawings with davits rotated by 180°.
Project Challenges
- Design to exacting dimensional requirements based on survey results from as-constructed piping
- Preparation of design that provided adequate leeway in tolerances to meet field requirements but still provided certainty with respect to safety and conformity with design standards.

Value Engineering
The vessels were replacements for existing units and the piping had been site-run so simple like-for-like replacement would have been problematic. Nozzles and piping were precisely surveyed and the design prepared to exacting dimensional requirements that ensured a contingency-free change over.
